Advice sometimes has a bad rap; we all know people who are eager to give advice but not necessarily good at taking it, or those who are full of suggestions about what or how we should live. Still, it's also true that there are times that we're gifted with wonderful advice from those who care about us, or who've been there before. So take a moment, and share.

We all have different standards when it comes to friendships. Some people like friendships with those who drop in and call regularly, who'll swing by just to catch up, or who'll surprise you with a homemade gift or impromptu party. Others prefer friendships with more independent sorts--the type of people whom, if you don't call them for a few weeks or months, will never feel insulted. Some people enjoy hanging out with those younger than themselves; others like the wisdom and insight of those older than they. Some like active, always-on-the-go, extroverts; others prefer those who are more reserved and comfortable with calm. But what about you?
