If you could design a religion, what would it look like?
Pretend for a moment that the wisdom and traditions of all the world's religions--Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, and all the other spiritual traditions--were lost to us. The history, the myths, the founding tenets are gone. And pretend that you've been given the task of designing a new religion. What would it look like? What would be the founding principles? What traditions would be involved?
The problem is all religions are man made except for Orthodox Christianity which revealed by God. Hmmm....hard choice a man's opinon or God's Truth.

It wouldn't look like a religion for one thing. Each person would be considered the temple of their own Beingness. No need for buildings. Each person would develop his/her own relationship to their essence, that... More »
